Techline Engineers and Product specialists provide subject matter expertise to both Sales and Technical Sales teams such as Capacity Planning, Performance, Server and storage solutions, Product/ Resource sizing, optimization studies and will help accelerate the sales cycles and improve productivity. IBM Systems Hardware Techline Center would be responsible for System Design & Configuration, Sizing, TCO, Capacity planning, SCON, Select ISV Sizing support, Middleware sizing, and Competitive assessments.  Position Title: Technical Leader - Power Systems  Role & Responsibilities:  Techline Center Technical leader for Power Systems, role would be required to lead/ conduct Client Analytic Studies and provide deliverables/proposals/live discussions with/to customers, sellers, etc. regarding capacity planning, performance analysis, server consolidation, advanced virtualization, IT optimization, total cost of ownership, cloud, big data & disaster recovery solutions.  Technical leader would also be required to:-  - Provide Technical guidance and direction to the Power systems Techline team.  - Work closely with Clients/sellers/channel partners  - Extensive leverage of tools and methodologies  - Lead and maintain tool automation and IC creation efforts.  - Lead and participate Technical Delivery Assessments with clients / sellers/ channel partners  - Lead and participate in Solution design and assurance reviews with sales, and technical team for all the Power Systems solution  - Ensure solution technical viability and product compatibility  - Provide Thought Leadership and rich Point of Views on solutions to clients and technical teams   - To continuously update, maintain, develop critical tools for server consolidation, total cost of ownership, capacity planning, energy analysis, configurations  - Leverage IBM Systems Development teams in India and WW.  - Proven ability to lead the team and work with the teams to achieve results  - Also ensure, promote and participate in open discussions on important issues, a high level of personal commitment and accountability to the mission and business.  Total Years of Experience - 15+ years
