Roles & Responsibilities  As a technical expert, candidate will be required to design infrastructure solutions/Proposals/Costing, Disaster Recovery Solutions along with managed services .  Candidate will be subject matter expert in the areas of server, storage, virtualization, disaster recovery, replication solutions and data center consolidation & migration. You should have experience in the field of virtualization technologies from (at least one vendor) IBM, VMware, Microsoft, Redhat and a good grasp of Cloud Computing concepts and building blocks of creating an end-to-end private and public IaaS and PaaS cloud solutions. You will be an expert in IT managed services solutions for Data Center managed services, remote/on-site/hybrid services delivery models & organization, service levels definition and management.  It will be required to engage with Domestic Enterprise IBM clients at business level, understanding compliance requirements, translating them to technology solutions, writing scope-of-work and presenting technical solutions to them. You must be able to manage large and complex projects working in a matrix environment. IBM clients want precision and predictability out of every business decision. They want to understand the consequences of their solution design decisions.  This role may require frequent travel to the customer base location and requires flexibility as critical deals may require travel with a short lead time.   Desired/Must Have Skills  Infrastructure - Architectural Models to meet business and functional needs, Logical Architectures, Technical Architectures & Use cases for Infrastructure services and Component based architectures  Infrastructure (Server/Storage/Network) sizing, consolidation, virtualization and thin-provisioning  Hypervisors - KVM, VMware vSphere/ESX  Operating Systems - Microsoft Windows, Linux (Any Distribution), RISC, AIX/HP-UX  Cloud Management Stack - IBM Cloud Orchestrator, Vmware VCloud, Microsoft SCCM Cloud stack, Openstack  IT Services - Disaster Recovery Solutions and services, Managed Services - Remote Managed Models /On-site models/ Hybrid Models, Cloud Based Services - Bare Metal, Public/Private VMs, Private Cloud Services, Hybrid Cloud Services  Service Levels - Data Center & Infrastructure service sla, Cloud services slas  Costing Models - Project based costing, Annuity Costing, Licensing, Scope based costing, Activity based costing, Services costing  Required:  Bachelor in Computer/Electronic Engineering or Equivalent with proven experience in Pre-Sales with experience in Delivery  - Desirable experience of 15+ years with proven skills and execution capabilities  - Prior experience of working in a matrix organization  - Communication skills are critical for internal teaming, executive updates, and client facing work
