Responsibilities :
Job Summary :
- Within the Mission, Vision and Values of HMC implementing a fire and safety system of all HMC facilities, training the hospitals staff in matters of safety, ensuring compliance with the requirements of various local and international codes, standards and regulation on fire and safety Common Responsibilities
Specific Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of the HMC mission, vision, and values,
- Analyzing collective data and other information as part of effective performance improvement (PI) using relevant PI tools.
- Updating the Hazardous materials and waste management plan (HMWMP) according to new scientific research and updated international regulation.
- Working with section head for organizing and regular training of the hospital staff in environmental precaution, drills and other matters concerning safety.
- Assist section head in Investigate and evaluate in all incidents and accidents related to HMC environmental safety to prevent reoccurrence in future.
- Complies with HMC policies and procedures, and in particular infection control, safety and quality Management
- Work with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) regarding issuing, accomplishing and returning of work orders or documentation.
- Responsible for the performance and discipline of all tradesmen assigned in the section.
- Evaluate work performance and make recommendations such as merit increases, promotions, transfers and disciplinary action.
- Provide guidance, counsel and technical assistance as required.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Job Requirements : Educational Qualifications & Certificates :
Essential Education : 3 years university degree in Engineering or Health and Safety OR Health Management OR Science.
Essential Experience : 5 years in general health and safety field.
Skills :
Language Skills : English essential, Arabic preferred
Computer Skills : Excellent in computer applications (windows, MS office) Competencies Common Leadership and Professional Competencies
