Business Unit Introduction:

CIO Business Transformation and Information Technology is a cross-functional organization acting as an IT partner to various IBM's Business in creating a single Enterprise Integration and Governance Model, while accelerating the delivery of business value, improving service quality, simplifying BT/IT processes and delivering operational efficiency.

Who you are:

This role is responsible for the management of all aspects of data and information (both structured and unstructured) from business requirements to logical and physical design in an IT solution. It spans the full information management lifecycle from data acquisition, data cleansing, transformation, classify and storage to presentation, distribution, security, privacy and archiving. They key interests of the Data Analyst/ Architect role include databases (relational and multidimensional), taxonomies and business intelligence. Data Analyst must be capable of designing centralized or distributed systems that both address the user's requirements and perform efficiently and effectively.

What you- ll do:

- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

- Filter and - clean- data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems

- Develop data reconciliation reports to ensure accuracy of ETL Processes and ensure data parity across multiple systems

- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:-

- Bachelor's Degree in Engg or Information Technology

- Overall 8 to 10 years of experience with 3-6 years- experience in developing complex SQL queries

- Debug/performance tuning SQL and maintain multiple Databases including dev/test and Production

- Responsible for documenting design, changes to databases

- Participate in daily scrums and work closely with leads and scrum master and product owners to provide status on timely basis

- Prepare install scripts and code promotion procedure as well as build automation

- Exposure to designing Physical Data Model, Logical Model & Modeling Techniques

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:-

- Experience with Business Intelligence Engagement Model

- Knowledge of Design Information System Architecture

- Ability to pick up new areas and work on a Consultant Profile as well
