Roles & Responsibility - 

The Senior Management Consultant in Banking has responsibility for the ongoing identification, development and assessment of business opportunities selected based on proactive market screening, targeting and business analysis. They will also be tasked with key account delivery responsibilities. They develop extensive executive and senior management relationships with clients in the insurance services sector. They provide executive level banking subject matter expertise and own the opportunity and work collaboratively with other teams across IBM and with partners as appropriate. They facilitate the transition to engagement teams and remain involved during delivery, as appropriate

1. Help in building strong pipeline of Key accounts in insurance Industry

2. Execution of the insurance sector strategy plus participation in the strategy creation for the sector

3. Drive the new opportunities from A to Z, sale of the solution and ensure the delivery

4. Establish strong business relationships with clients in Banking Industry

5. Become a trusted business advisor to clients' senior management

6. Ensure Delivery Excellence of engagements

7. Create client satisfaction and delivery quality

8. Direct and manage project teams

9. Should have deep business understanding of Data Lake & Analytics lifecycle and benefits for banks and financial institutions and technological understanding.

Required technical & professional skill - 

1. Overall work experience of 13 to 15 years in the area of insurance

2. Specific work experience of atleast 10 years in a Top Tier Bank across product development, sales and operations roles

3. Deep knowledge of different aspects of the Indian banking Industry including market structure, key business drivers, competitive landscape, current trends, regulatory environment, key innovations in the market place etc.

4. Fair amount of exposure and knowledge of digital technology in the Banking and FS industries including in the areas of payments, mobile banking etc.

5. Clear evidence of ability to develop new business and shape value-led business propositions in Banking industry.

6. Proven ability in converting opportunities into new client engagements and building long term business relationships.

7. Good understanding of information technology, including IT processes with a strong track record of senior management influence across financial services clients.

8. Business development and consulting skills

9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with internal stakeholders

10. Ability to work independently, lead large as well as small engagements

11. Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)

12. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
