Academic Qualification : Law Course, Any qualification on media law or IPR is preferable

Job responsibilities :

- 4-5 key deliverables, specify Area/ territory to be managed, if applicable

- Performing the drafting and litigation related to legal matters in the Company.

- Should be able to do intensive research work and prepare briefs on variety of legal issues pertaining to IPR, Media laws and IT Act.

- Drafting & Vetting of legal letters, agreements, contracts or any other process related to the business of the company particularly considering Information Technology Act and IPR.

- Studying contracts and legal documents to make sure that it is in the organization's interests

- Report preparation for assessment and presentation before the senior officials

- Support the senior management in negotiation, execution and closing of all project documents

- Documenting and keeping all the legal documents securely

- Review progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with and manage external lawyers.

Prior Role (s)/ Work Experience Preferred (detailed information about the required background) :

- Excellent logical, research and communication

- Should be able to work under strict timelines

- Must be well organized, accurate and disciplined in work

- Must be able to maintain confidentiality about all legal matters

- Should be willing to travel

- Prior In- house experience in Media or Internet based company
