Role Title : GMCS Client Performance Analyst  Business Function : Global Banking and Markets Service Centres, Bangalore  High level summary of the role:   HSBC Global Banking and Markets is establishing an offshore capability to support the front office. As part of this, Global Markets Corporate Services (GMCS) are looking to recruit talented and driven individuals in a number of areas to support sales teams across the globe. This will enable onshore sales teams to dedicate more time delivering better service to clients and make it easier for customers to do business with HSBC. The role provides exposure to both front office sales teams and Global Markets products whilst offering opportunities to directly liaise and develop relationships with other teams including Global Trade & Receivables Finance (GTRF), Global Liquidity & Cash Management (GLCM), and Global Markets Operations.  GMCS Client Performance Analyst will be part of the Sales Business & Performance Management team within the offshore centre supporting the GMCS COO through provision of key management information and services. Initially, limited client interaction is anticipated although the scope of the role is expected to develop and change over time according to business needs, maturity of technology solutions, and expansion of the offshore capability. The individual will be expected to work closely with the COO function and internal sales people in onshore locations.  The role entails building partnerships and collaborating with the COO function and onshore sales teams in order to operate in a control framework whereby key decisions are made by the appropriate onshore team member.   Key Responsibilities:  The responsibilities of the role will evolve with the expansion of the offshore capability and rollout of technology platforms. Initial ways in which the offshore team can support Sales and the COO function include;   - Development of Pipeline management capabilities   - Establishing Client tiering, its associated governance and management   - Build and management of client focused MI and analytics  - Application of MI and analytics to build actionable intelligence across the Corporate client base which will be used for client strategy, sales strategy and opportunity assessment  - Executive level & sales practitioner reporting of client performance  - Development of Service management agenda and reporting  - Incorporation of external market information include quantitative metrics (market share, wallet share) and qualitative metrics (service level analyses, client feedback) into the analytics function.  Impact on the Business:  Ensuring consistency and timely completion of governance forum information packs and more broadly Management Office collated MI  Streamlined Management Office information gathering, production and reporting  Globally consistent Business Management MI  Clear, concise and informative intelligence which can be used by senior management within the business to drive client interaction, opportunity assessment and ultimately improve the performance of the business  Role Context :  The GMCS Markets Front Office roles need to be seamlessly integrated in to the wider Global Banking and Markets Service Centre structure whilst ensuring appropriate segregation of duties. An effective support structure needed to enable Bangalore offering to be scaled as the business grows. Initial learning curve challenges to be ironed out quickly to facilitate growth under strong governance and control.
