Within the context of the Foundry India and ASEAN businesses, and working directly with the VP India and ASEAN, the job holder will ensure that the Foundry organization in this Region is appropriately structured with suitably qualified people and systems, procedures and processes established to facilitate the effective execution of the Foundry Business strategy.To ensure employees are motivated and appropriately rewarded.  Key to the role are skills / knowledge in:  Organization design and development  Implementing or developing HR policy framework and procedures   Talent and Competence Management (attracting, hiring, developing and retaining)  Performance Management / Performance Management measures Coaching & Mentoring Practice   Industrial Relations  Managing transformation   Developing a Centre of Excellence framework  As a member of the India and ASEAN Management Teams, to contribute to the key business decisions and the effective running of the Foundry business in the region, ensuring that group and BU policies are clearly defined, understood and implemented.  Total number of countries to be managed - 6 (India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia & Philippines)  Key Result Areas  With the Management Teams of India and ASEAN, formulate a human resources strategy to ensure an organization capable of delivering the Foundry SBU strategy.  The scope of the H.R. strategy would include resource definition and planning, Recruitment, training and development and compensation and benefit strategy  Lead the implementation of the H.R. strategy through the preparation of policies and procedures and subsequent support and guidance of the management Team.  Ensure that the recruitment, training, development and management of the HR & Administration function personnel is performed in compliance with Company policy and is designed to meet current and future needs of the Company.  Manage the site/office administration in India to ensure the efficient and effective provision of a range of services, including canteen, communication systems, site security and housekeeping and landscaping.  Ensure through a process of close monitoring that the division's employment practices comply strictly with current legislation.  Manage any legal cases arising from employee or H.R. policy related matters through consultation with the Legal experts.  Ensure that the Management Team is kept abreast of H.R. practice and organisation design best practice.  Responsible for maintaining the Self Development Plan and supporting management in its implementation.  To participate proactively in the Company's Safety, Health & Environmental (S.H.E.) and Quality policies and systems.  Support any restructuring of Foundry India & ASEAN, ensuring processes are in place to attract, recruit and retain high caliber employees; manage the succession planning process for key and expert roles.  Ensuring bonus plans and commission schemes are designed in the best way to ensure the objective connection between performance and reward  Knowledge / Experience / Skills  The position requires an experienced, motivated and driven HR practitioner with a thorough Knowledge of the appropriate operating systems and legislative controls and the ability to provide advice on industrial relations issues in a number of centres.  Educated to at least degree level, preferably with a postgraduate business qualification, the incumbent will have at least ten years experience in HR, of which at least three will be in a senior role, with extensive decision making authority.
