Opening with UK based (MNC) for hr business partner head role based at Chennai handling entire Tamil Nadu & Kerala.

Area of Responsibility

Business Partnering/ Support

- Leading and managing the end-to-end employee life cycle

- Ensure recruitment of adequate number of quality direct & indirect manpower in accordance with business requirements and budget with support from recruitment team

- Effectively managing stakeholder relationships including business, ER, L&D, clients etc.

- Oversee completion of joining, leaving formalities and attendance system

- Lead implementation of PDR process and provide guidance and support to concerned personnel

- Ensure completion and timely entry of data in ERP & facilitate penetration/ usage in coordination with HR Shared Service centre

- Manage and facilitate settlement of mediclaim, GPAIP & EDLI claims

- Identify training needs from PDRs & interaction with line managers and ensure implementation in collaboration with the L&D team

- Ensure basic/core training is imparted to all employees before deployment in coordination with the Training team

- Facilitate grievance handling process in with Hub ER support

- Manage employee escalations & complaints

- Finalize and facilitate timely closure of payroll inputs pertaining to salary and bonus payouts

Statutory Compliance

- Monitor fulfillment of statutory compliances requirements for minimum wages, ESI, PF, EDLI, WC policy etc.in coordination with Hub ER

- Monitoring revision in minimum wages in various states within the hub and obtain necessary approvals for implementation

- Ensure implementation of HR chapter of ISO or preparedness for ISO or related quality standards

Health & Safety

- Ensure observance to highest standards of G4S Health & Safety norms in all areas of work

- Promote awareness among stakeholders on safe working procedures

- Identify & facilitate resolution of any health & safety incidents
