Description   - The consultant will help our sales/ marketing /delivery and finance functions with analytic insights through solution building using statistical approaches and becoming an evangelist for such solutions. This position combines strong analytical, statistical skills & technical knowledge.   - The candidate will actively collaborate with executive leaders to implement analytical models to help strategic initiatives   Responsibilities:   - Responsible for data analysis, predictive modeling, statistical testing to support business functions   - Develop actionable insights from data and thereby create measurable impact in areas of key sales finance and delivery metrics   - Work with the analytics team and business leaders to understand problems and opportunities and tailor modeling approaches to meet the requirements   - Effectively understand and communicate the benefits and limits of predictive models, optimization, and classification models   - Measure and analyze performance of these models and estimate the impact created   - Stay current on emerging analytical methods, strategies and trends and continue educate self and the team on new trends   - Analyze and interpret data; synthesize information from a variety of sources and zero down the right statistical approach to be used to solve the consumer problem   - Translate business problems into Analytical problem and analytical output to business decision   - Should be able to independently test, implement and validate predictive and classification models   - Able to work with large volumes of user demographic and transactional data   - Manage multiple modeling projects simultaneously.   Requirements:   - Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field, MBA preferred but not mandatory   - Experience in machine-learning models is a huge plus.   - Strong foundation in Statistical modelling with ability to work on multiple classification and regression models is a must   - Proficiency in at least one of SAS/R/SPSS is needed   -Should be willing to join at a short notice
