Category Manager-Services:   Location: Mumbai, India  Seeking an innovative, strategic, self-starter with a business mindset and ability to handle P&L.   We are seeking a Category Manager, who can develop and lead the business for the assigned category. You will be in charge of the P&L. To achieve your top and bottom line, you do everything that's need to be done-Pricing, product, sales, marketing, increase in supply or generate demand.  As the expert of a specific category, the in-depth knowledge of the category manager will drive the pricing, marketing and promotions of the category's products in order to make them as visible, accessible, and appealing to customers as possible. A successful category manager would contribute to the profitability of the category.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:  P&L:  - To drive category growth   - Deliver the P&L for the category and spend allocation effectively   - Budgeting and overall planning for category growth.  - To drive category business in the short and medium term with a responsibility to achieve budgeted value sales   Expansion, Growth and Implementation:  - Expansion of the category across India and globally.  - To drive growth for the category through new consumer acquisition and gain market share from competitors.   - Drive product team with plan of expansion and growth and get market requirements implemented in the product.   - In charge of implementation on operations front.  Supply & Demand planning:  - Supply and demand planning for the category  - Seamlessly integrate operations team with category vision to ensure implementation  - Work closely with vendor management team to ensure supply constraint is never an issue for category growth  - Business forecasting   - Work closely with marketing team, to ensure demand is met to achieve top line  Pricing:  - Effective pricing of all products within the category.  Customer Satisfaction:  - Ensure highest level of customer satisfaction  - Understand market requirement well, and implement solution for the same.  To do this job well, you:  - Have 4+ years experience in managing P&L  - Experience in home services industry is a plus (relocation, painting, facility management, property management etc)  - Must have graduated from a Tier 1 college or university with a bachelor's degree.  - Masters degree or MBA for Tier 1 is preferable.  - Previous experience in marketing and pricing is a plus.  - Any entrepreneurial project done in the past is a plus  - Should have 4+ years experience managing people and leading teams, including proven experience providing effective coaching, feedback and performance management.  What will make you stand out from the rest of the crowd:  - High Initiative/ Self starter/ ability to drive implementation to the end   - Ability to work in a high activity/fast paced environment while managing associated stress.  - Problem solving attitude   - Marketing Orientation & Creative bent of mind   - Committed to deadlines/ Ability to handle high work pressure   - Knowledge of Marketing processes /formats /Market research /New Product Development Process   - Good people interaction/ team building skills  - Possesses excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.  - Ability to handle ambiguity, juggle many tasks at once and quickly shift from one situation or task to another.  - Strong written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings and effectively lead discussions.  - Strong analytical skills.  - Excellent communication skills, listening and negotiation skills in order to articulate ideas and thoughts clearly through various means, including written and oral communications with all levels of the organization.
