Role Title : Deputy Manager - Application Integration and Management

Location :Bangalore, India. Should be willing to travel domestic and international

Role Dimensions :

- The role is an integral part of the organization's overall digitization strategy towards building an agile and mobile enterprise portfolio of IT services and products for internal and external customers. It entails understanding the landscape of various applications in the company and work on the integration touch points to ensure all the systems work in synchrony.

- The role reports to the Vice President, Office of the CIO and will involve in working with various functional stakeholders in evaluation, implementation and integration of COTS (Custom Off the Shelf Solutions). Should be able to provide inputs contributing to the overall application landscape and strategy and work towards a unified master data management process and integration among various applications.

- This will be an individual contributor role.

- Role will also involve working on market research on various products and solutions relevant for HGS and its customers,and keep an up to date inventory of such solutions along with collaterals and other documents. The range of applications can be very wide and will cover areas like operational efficiency, customer interactions (like chat, social media), business intelligence and others.

Desired Knowledge, skills and attitudes :

The ideal candidate should have :

- The ability to understand the workings of software applications and interfaces

- Knowledge of master data management and its importance

- Worked with various integration methods across applications

- Basic knowledge of databases and basic programming skills

- Excellent team skills and ability to collaborate in a matrix organizational structure

- Ability to work with cross cultural and multi geography teams

Education Qualification and Professional experience :

- Bachelors in Engineering / computer science / Business Analytics / Business Management

- 4 to 6 years of experience in the Software application development or configuration and integration
