The product manager is responsible for analyzing market and customer needs, defining solutions and new features, product backlog prioritization, specifying requirements, developing mockups, and working with development team to answer questions and help remove roadblocks and ensure a timely delivery of specified features. As the voice of the customer and expert on the product and space, the product manager is responsible for working with Marketing to provide marketing materials, Sales and Consulting to support sales effort and implementation projects and identify market needs. Understanding of the market and customers, and familiarity with the way users will use the product is key to success at this position.  Perform preliminary investigation and detailed analysis of product requirements as provided by Product Management  Work with Development / QA Leads, internal and external customers to elaborate and validate business and functional requirements  Create concise requirements documentation, including mock ups of UIs  Define acceptance criteria with Product Manager and the development team  Act as a proxy customer on the development team  Work daily with the development team  Contribute to feature release documentation  Act as liaison and solution provider between Development, PM, and internal business personnel  Coordinate with other team members (Project Managers, Developers, QA analysts, Documentation Specialists) throughout the full development cycle  Participate in Release Management tasks including, but not limited to, Quality Standard Reviews, Documentation Review, Product Release Training  Work with internal and external managers/leads to coordinate resources & schedules; clearly conveying individual and team responsibilities.  Provide visibility of project status to stakeholders and project team  Escalate project blocking issues and schedule delays to Program Manager  Oversee, manage and analyze project milestones, ensuring process completion and project progress  Work with project's cross functional teams to resolve issues and align efforts  In conjunction with Product Managers; acts as a subject matter expert to internal and external development a team  Works frequently with internal and external software development teams   Facilitates deliverable reviews at regular project intervals  Effectively applies project management processes, methodologies and enforces project standards  Minimizes project exposure and risk  Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately  Desired Skills and Experience  Minimum 5 of years of experience in technical product management/business analyst or equivalent senior technical role  Experience with developing web applications in a technical and business setting  Experience developing requirements for web based applications  Experience with Agile methodology is desirable  An MBA degree from a premier institute and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science field is preferred  Project Management certification is desirable  Market (SWOT) analysis  Competitive analysis  Demonstrable organizational skills  Proven problem solving and analytical skills  Excellent Presentation Skills  Excellent team and interpersonal skills  Strong initiative to build cutting edge functionality.
