They are currently looking for a senior professional to Head their Taxation department.  - Ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 20-25 years of work experience out of which last 10 years in an Infra/ construction company of repute.  Incumbent will be responsible for:  - Oversee the Tax department and act as the advisor on all Tax issues  - Tax planning for the execution of projects.  - Providing strategic inputs pertaining to Direct & Indirect taxes related issues.  - Evaluate various propositions from a taxation standpoint and quantify its impact on the business.  - Provide Direct & Indirect tax advisory services in relation to EPC contracts and advise on the ideal contract structuring options and devise standard operating procedures for successful bids  - Handle the process relating to litigations pertaining to Income Tax, VAT, Excise and Service Tax.  - Ensuring Tax compliance / Governance in the Company  - Advise on the levy of service tax on the applicability on new transactions.  - Facilitate the Finance & Accounts Department in Closing of Accounts by providing inputs on Tax provision and take positions on various issues concerning Taxes.
