Head - Sourcing & Supply Chain - Retail

Job Summary:

We are looking for detail oriented people to develop and maintain a network of suppliers to maintain production standards and overall quality of product

- This person would be responsible to work with our existing manufacturers and also head a team of sourcing specialists. The job would put you in a collaborative, creative and entrepreneurial environment

- Must have dealt with vendors in China

Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain a global sourcing strategy to optimise supply base

- Develop and execute our Sourcing/Cost of Goods strategy

- Monitor the efficiency and quality of contracted manufacturing operations

- Establish sourcing policies, processes and manufacturing controls

- Oversee development of new product categories and maintain quality Standards/processes

- Create and deliver technical strategies that achieve our goals

- Oversee team of sourcers and production planners that manage calendars to meet our initiatives and deliverables

- Collaborate across functions to ensure design vision is accurately executed

Qualifications:

- 8-10 years of professional experience within the Apparel/Non-Apparel manufacturing business

- Product specification experience - Apparel/Non-Apparel construction knowledge

- Agent/Supplier relationship management experience; Extensive manufacturing knowledge

- 3rd party/Fast-fashion sourcing experience, preferred

- Creative problem solving and strategic thinking

- Strong ability to hire talent

- Experience with international manufacturers and suppliers

- Motivational, management, empowerment and leadership skills

- Prior experience developing and managing a budget

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
