Solution Design Head - Financial Services  Location: Bangalore   Reporting to: Practice Head, Industry Solutions  Key Responsibilities:  The Solution Design role (SD) plays a critical role in driving revenue growth for the Practice.  - Reviews and guides the creation of the RFP response and provides inputs to the pricing committee as well as the solution leads  - Leads client workshops from Solution perspective such as Solutioning sessions, workshops, client visits, pricing negotiations etc.  - Provides inputs to SOW / MSA creation with the sales team and the Business Head or Delivery Teams  - Identify opportunities for Transformation, that helps effectively distinguish from process efficiencies / improvements  - Detailed knowledge of Global Financial Services (Banking and / or Capital Markets) Clientele that supports development of customized Industry Solutions from a Financial Services perspective   - Should have proven experience in BPO Solution Design for BPO deals in any of Retail Banking, Investment Banking, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Custodian space  - Development of Thought leadership and Point of View on development trends in the Capital Markets Industry and identifying white spaces for development of newer offerings in BPO Financial Services offerings  - Coordinating with Delivery, IT and Platform Team, Technology Solutions Teams, Other Horizontal practices (F&A, S&P etc.) in development of customized solutions and New Product Offerings for Capital Markets Customers  - People Management: Leading Team of Solution Design comprising of Associate Consultants to Principal Consultants. Work load / capacity management in the team, Career pathing of Direct Reports, Training and Development needs amongst team members  Job Requirements  - Has a Degree in Engineering and/or MBA/Post Graduate with Minimum defined grades  - 12 - 15 years of experience BPO Solution Design experience and should have worked in BPO Pre-Sales / Solution Designing Shared Services with focus on either of Retail Banking or Capital Markets domain.  - Should have experience in Solution Design for Industry Solutions Offerings in either of:  Retail Banking: Mortgage, Cards, Retail banking operations, Payments, Client Account Management, KYC, AML, Fraud, etc Platform based offerings in Retail banking space;  OR  Capital Markets: Buy side (Asset Management / Wealth Management / Custodians) / Sell side (Investment Banking) for functions including like Reconciliations, Corporate Actions, KYC, AML Compliance (Remediation and BAU), Reference Data Management, Instrument Data / Security Master Files, Platform based offerings in Capital Markets space.  - Should have good knowledge of the Financial Services (Retail Banking or Capital Market industry landscape) from Provider perspective  - Industry certifications or experience in Retail Banking or Capital Market firms would be an added advantage.  - Well versed with Horizontal offerings, and should have led deals with Global Capital Markets clients for services like F&A, S&P, HRO  - Should have proven track record of leading BPO deals for Banking / Capital Markets clients as Solution Director / SD Head and should have worked on Deals for Banking / Capital Markets clients  - Participating in Client Presentations, Orals, Client visits and showcasing capabilities and defending proposed solution and seeking client / stakeholder inputs for improving the solution, Preparing collaterals  - Creating PoVs, bringing about Thought Leadership from knowledge of Domain  - Supporting / Leading projects for existing and new clients in Financial Services space  Naveta
