Head - Service Delivery - Securities Services Operation - Global Service Centre

To lead and manage the Securities Services Operation (SSO) within the Global Service Centre.

Responsibilities :

Financial :

- Set, manage and execute the annual budget and rolling operating plan.

- Achieve cost management and saving targets for the business

Client / Stake Holder :

- Establish and maintain effective relationship with onshore business partners in order to stay close to operational service requirements, identify and improve areas of service improvement

- Implement effective management and performance reporting to monitor - service quality- and ensure appropriate metrics are in place to meet and exceed service standards and targets

Process :

Co-ordination & Governance :

- Develop and maintain a professional, high quality operation function.

- Establish and maintain appropriate operational governance structure across the location

- Managing, planning and directing the operation for Business in line with overall business product and client service model.

- Develop and institutionalize streamlining focus for service delivery improvement, risk mitigation and/or enhanced product offering.

- Work with business to identify and agree delivery framework for functions, ensuring delivery within agreed time frames using appropriate process and capacity management workflows. Complete ongoing monitoring and review to ensure processes are completed in adherence to controls and procedures.

Audit & Control :

- Provide effective control and risk management across operational disciplines

- Implement strong risk management environment to negate operational losses, regulatory breaches and potential fraud

Qualifications :

- Post graduate (CA, CFA or other equivalent financial industry related qualification).

Professional Skills & Experience :

- Candidate to possess extensive working experience in the securities industry, to include :

- Knowledge of clients and products across range of securities services

- Management position with exposure to external and internal stakeholders across multiple geographical locations

- Management position with exposure to remuneration, performance management, team building and staff development

- Fund Administration and or Custody, focusing on large scale back and/or middle office.
