Job description:  Part of the Executive leadership team, the incumbent will be responsible for volume sales, market share and profit, controlling and influencing of key retail outlets, making inroads in new markets and maintaining the preferred supplier status through customer service excellence in Eastern African markets including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Sudan and other African markets.  - The Head of Regional Sales will be responsible for providing on the ground leadership to maintain and grow the company’s prominent regional market presence in line with company’s vision of attaining strong leadership positions across categories and markets.  The primary focus areas of responsibilities will be:  - Research, Brand Positioning & Product Development  - Sales Team Leadership  - Distribution channel management  - Management reporting & strategy formulation   Candidate Specification:  The Ideal Candidate will have the following experience and background:  - A Graduate with a minimum of five years’ experience in senior management sales/marketing/trade-marketing in an aggressive, distribution-oriented FMCG environment.  - Postgraduate qualification in sales/marketing will be an added advantage.  - Experience in SUB_SAHARAN African countries is manadatory  - Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.   - Fluency in both English and Swahili languages.   - Strong business management skills and strategic planning skills.  - Strong numeracy skills.  - A good understanding of brand management/market research.   - Cross-cultural management skills.   - Excellent negotiation skills.   - Excellent resource management skills.  For Details reach me on: Mobile: +917698001494 Skype: subratasdey
