Responsibilities :
- Actively seek out new business prospects and drive revenue growth
- Leverage the company's sales goals within the region, through professional sales techniques and good customer service, maintaining quality relations with existing accounts
- Prioritize prospects and manage the response to commercial leads appropriately and within company objectives
- Research target markets and locate potential major customers
- Manage the sales pipeline and forecast value and revenue growth
- Report, qualify, analyze and track leads through the sales process and CRM, in order to maximize new business opportunities
- Present the company's services & technical solutions to major clients and potential customers
- Negotiate with potential customers and close deals
- Where appropriate, recruit agents and manage the relationship with them
- Renew contracts with existing customers
- Expand the range of services purchased by existing customers
- Work in collaboration with regional sales teams and colleagues in the other business units
- Lead bids where appropriate and liaise with all relevant personnel in the delivery of cogent, costed proposals
- Develop trusted relationships with key decision makers that give early insight into key opportunities.
Experience/Qualifications :
- Excellent sales and business development skills
- Significant experience in a channel origination, Fully managed/Cloud Based Playout and Teleport Facility, content distribution, digital media sales position in the broadcast and media industry
- An existing contacts book and excellent relationships with decision makers within the target broadcasting sectors
- In depth market knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape
- Experience of writing bid documents and leading responses to RFPs preferred
- A highly motivated, results driven self-starter who is hungry for success
- First class interpersonal, communications and writing skills
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of an international team
- Comprehensive understanding of workflows, technologies and architectures deployed within a broadcast and media services environment
- A thorough understanding of client requirements and expectations
- An innovative approach to client solutions
- The ability to keep abreast of new technologies and their applications
- The ability to prepare sales forecasts and monthly sales reports
- Used to maximizing margins and delivering profitable business
