Role purpose   Overall purpose of the job. This is a summary list of six to eight statements for key result areas where the role holder will have decision-making responsibilities.   - Drive effective and sustainable implementation of Internal Control Framework (ICF) and segregation of duty (SoD) risk management framework.  - Develop foresight approach to risk management to ensure proactive mitigation and remediation of issues in both Finance Operations and Business Facing Finance.  - Support implementation of new GSM, business models /merger integration projects, ensuring adherence to the applicable compliance framework.  - Contribute to create a compliance culture within the organization.  - Engage strong One Finance and Compliance Risk Management Committee (CRMC) governance to address effectively financial compliance risks.  - Drive the delivery of the Financial Compliance TOM and ensure high quality relationship / ways of working with our strategic partners (i.e. CG and Infosys).  AccountabilitiesThis accountability list is on-going and unlikely to change significantly from year to year. Use action verbs (e.g., ensure, provide), provide a broad indication of the performance levels required (e.g. effectively, accurately), ensure the  Critical success factors & key challenges  List the main job contributions, i.e. the key tasks of the job (May include challenges facing the successful candidate in their first twelve months in the role) and the expected behaviour.  - Strong awareness of financial risks and effective ways of risk management.  - Strong and effective communication in relation to key stakeholders (global, regional, local), including senior managers.   - Ability to manage fast moving transformation and change agenda.  - Set clear direction to the organization regarding financial compliance objectives, priorities and deliverables.  - Stakeholder management in particular with global / regional / local finance management, Group SOX, Corporate Internal Audit and territory compliance risk management committees (CRMCs)   - Continuous review and assessment of tasks and challenges to ensure prioritization as per Group and Regional priorities and manage related change.  - Coach and guide Territory / Country finance team in relation to improving functional compliance capability.  - Promote a continuous improvement mindset in the teams.  Critical experience  The type and minimum length of relevant experience required to effectively perform in the role. This includes familiarity with particular processes or systems, dealing with certain products or services, and/or the experience of dealing with others- both internally and externally, on-the-job-experience.  - Accounting and / or Finance degree and CPA or CMA designation is highly desirable along with experience in a public accounting firm.  - Previous experience implementing and / or sustaining SOX at a publicly traded company.  - Project management experience.   - Experience with SAP in a decentralized environment is desirable.  - 10 to 12 years working experience in a Senior position in Finance, Audit or Compliance.  - Worked in large multinational organisations.   - Good and firm understanding in the design, implementation and monitoring of internal controls, risk libraries and compliance process management.   - Change management.  - Exposure to senior management / stakeholder management linked to strong communication skills, including English skills (written and spoken), face-to-face discussions and formal presentations.   - Good understanding of practical issues and trade-offs faced at country level, while still be able to communicate needs to adhere to global standards and principles.
