Currently we are looking for a senior level person to head the plant Quality and testing operations of an MNC, which is manufacturing High Voltage transformers. This position is to be based at Vadodara  Head: Quality and Testing  Job Purpose:  - To drive Quality & Testing Function by designing quality procedures, processes at unit level and ensure testing function for transformers is carried out as stake holders schedule for First pass yield.   - Maintain and upgrade the test lab as per latest technology requirement of the company.  Quality Systems:  - To drive Unit Quality System and IMS certification, communicate on its procedures and philosophy, to achieve Unit's internal and external credibility regarding Quality, the efficiency of processes and quality of products   Quality Tools:  - Promote and conduct the deployment of Quality tools in order to solve problems, reduce the cost of non Quality and improve the overall efficiency of the Unit  External Relations:  - Create, develop and maintain effective liasoning with Suppliers and Consultants  Quality Policy:  - Participate in the elaboration of the Unit Quality policy, communicate, implement and control it, in order to maximize the level of quality and the results of the Unit  - Testing: To drive the testing function, ensuring the tests are conducted as per the stake holders needs/expectations with minimum through put time   - Technology Upgradation: Responsible to keeping abreast with latest technology and thus developing tests accordingly.   Key Performance Indicators:  - Successful Ratio of Test Analysis & Through put time.   - Successful execution of QMS and Quality Standards   Education: Graduate Electrical Engineer   Experience: 15 - 18 years experience & Testing & Quality System knowledge (in power transformers)
