A major technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services conglomerate, with global operations is looking for Head - Quality.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferable - Electronics / Telecommunications). Diploma/Bachelor/Masters in Industrial Safety. A Master's degree with an excellent academic track record is a plus.
Knowledge of latest Quality Standards in Telecom industry(TL 9000) and Lean concept.Willingness to travel Pan India as per job requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance
- Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs
- Ensure all personnel are properly trained to perform QA/QC work, serve as mentor and manager to team of QA/QC technicians.
- Develop project quality assurance plan and execute project quality management activities
- Ensure effective internal and external audits happen and monitor and evaluate subcontractor implementation quality
- Supervise and lead a team of QA/QC technicians to ensure timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of field work during the construction and implementation of projects
- Report on Quality activities on a regular basis to the Senior Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators
- Collaborate and coordinate with other managers to ensure project is running smoothly and without disruption
- Overall responsibility for Quality activities across the Business Unit
