Maintain Quality
- To create and achieve the Quality objectives
- To lead TQM initiatives across the organisation towards ensuring zero defect and zero customer complain of our products and services
- Serve as the primary focal point for problem identification, resolution and continuous improvement
- Develop effective quality control processes to exceed customer needs and expectations
- To prompt design and development team to include QA parameters as expected by the customers
- Providing direction and guidance to the Quality team
- Visit customers and suppliers when necessary. Acts as a liaison to internal and external customers
- Have the authority to stop any process or product delivery in case of serious non- conformance
- Approve the "Production Validation Test" established by Engineering and ensure its completion according to the program milestones
- Review all production methods for compliance to quality standards
- Develop, implement and maintain Statistical Process Control techniques
- Fully responsible for implementation of ISO and other quality systems and 100% compliance to standards
- Fully responsible for training and development of staff members
Improve Quality
- Analysis of major repetitive non-conformance & customer complaints for corrective and preventive action.
- Initiate and implement quality improvement activities to raise the performance of the company's product lines
- Perform root-cause analysis and other problem solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements
- Conduct investigations to determine causes of defects, make recommendations for corrective action
- Create a culture for conducting thorough CAPA activities
Documentation
- Prepare DQ, IQ and OQ documents as per the global standards
- Monitor and revise quality documentation as required
- Improve the standards of quality documentation
- Should have a strong back ground and track record of managing Quality function with good process knowledge of Automotive/Manufacturing components.
- Knowledge of Internal Process, Assembly, Final trial and testing of product
- Six Sigma certified
- Kaizen certified
- Supplier and Vendor Quality Management
- Customer Complaint handling and resolution
- Experience of implementation of ISO 9001 Systems
- Be a strong leader with experience in implementing and shaping the company's QA processes and strategies
- Have strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment
- Strong communication skills with all the key stakeholders to ensure QA vision is understood and implemented correctly.
- Advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement and industry recognized Best Practices.
- Experience managing testing departments or a testing functions, managing large and complex activities and processes.
- Proactive, strong minded, quick thinker and assertive.
- Able to motivate a team, recognize good talent and bring out the best out of each individual
