Head - Public Relations

Head of Public Relations for German MNC in Wholesale Business. The position will be working closely with the Managing Director.

Job Responsibilities:

- Act as primary liaison between Media Houses and company

- Raise the profile of the company and its brand through effective use of communication tools

- Anticipate and address emerging market and internal realities to drive revenue and profitability.

- Build understanding of current issues in the environment affecting businesses and brands, develop and execute public affairs strategies that impact belief, action, behavior and advocacy in order to shape the external environment.

- Maintain and enhance local Media Relations

- Act as a Brand Ambassador of organization

- Facilitate the execution of the events through liaison with the concerned authorities.

- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and pitch stories

- Manage media inquiries and interview requests

- Key media relationships across mediums - online, print, TV

- Excellent understanding of news flow and organizational structure in Media houses

- Proven track record in securing press in various mediums

- Good understanding of brand building, perception and image building, and brand management

- Ability to generate and analyze regular media trends and recommend strategies for improved exposure

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Hindi
