Head - Production Planning & Logistics

Client in Dubai - UAE looking to hire a Production Planner for their operations in Dubai. The location of work will be Dubai.

Job Description

Reporting to Engineering Development Manager, the key duties include:

- Production Planning and distribution of jobs to all CNC machines.

- Ensuring timely completion of production targets within designated time and cost parameters.

- Effective resource planning for optimising labour & machine utilisation.

- Preparing, establishing and following up machining process cards (Routers) to ensure accuracy and quality is maintained.

- Enhancing productivity and profitability through effective management of wastage.

- Maintaining co-ordination and communication between all departments.

- Checking and verifying programs/drawings made by CAD/CAM engineers.

- Maintaining all documentation in accordance with API and ISO regulations and standards.

- Undertaking technical reviews of enquiries and co-ordinating same with Production Manager.

- Reducing machining costs and increasing productivity and efficiency in order to achieve set targets in CNC machining operations.

- Analysing processes to enhance operational efficiency.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Preferably a qualified Mechanical Engineer with minimum 5 years’ experience in CNC Machining.

- Excellent organisational and analytical skills.

- Must be able to speak and write English proficiently.

- Be able to work with a multi-national work force
