Head - Procurement - Telecom

We have been retained to search for a Head of Procurement a Telecom client in Oman .

15+ years experience in Procurement having handled Telecom procurement from an operator side.

Responsible for Procurement, Contract Management and SCM.

The Director of Procurement is required to manage a team of Procurement and Contract Management Professionals and has overall responsibility for the Strategic and tactical Procurement for the entire portfolio of purchasing required.

- Co-ordinating, project managing and issuing the Request for Quotation activities for all external resources.

- Plans, directs, and manages the procurement and contract management activities .

- Evaluates suppliers, and negotiates best prices and conditions without compromising quality, awards contracts and co-ordinates with Legal Department to develop transparent, effective and commercial contracts/agreements .

- Coordinates activities of department with related activities of other departments to ensure efficiency and economy to the company
