Head - Procurement

The position is for Multi-channel B2B, eCommerce, Channel Sales business company. Reporting in to CEO.

Position Summary: As the Head Procurement, you will be responsible for ensuring that products appear in the right store, or on a website, or to the customer at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities. This involves working closely with the other teams to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels and monitor performance.

Position Responsibility:

- Responsible for buying and merchandising.

- Responsible for setting prices to maximize profits and manage the performance of ranges, planning promotions and markdowns as necessary.

- Responsible for overseeing delivery and distribution of stock and deal with suppliers.

- Supervise, recruit, train, develop, coach, and communicate with all associates and managers as well as assess performance.

- Planning budgets and presenting sales forecasts and figures for new ranges

- Ensure a positive customer experience in all stores.

- Achieve Regional level earnings and sales goals from each store.

- Supervise stores operations and SOP compliance through Store Audits.

- Maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures

- Identify and use key financial indicators to measure business performance

Educational Qualification: MBA/PG from premium institutes.

Experience:

- Must have min 6-8 years experience in buying and merchandising.

- Should also possess strong analytical and strategic mindset with good interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
