Head, Operations - Theme Park

Propose of the Job :

- Head of Operations is responsible for managing the overall operation of theme park through maintaining cost and quality standards, maximizing profits, developing and retaining employees and exceeding guest expectations. Examines, analyzes and evaluates operations of assigned theme park and resort to ensure adherence to established brand standards and policies by performing the following duties.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability :

Operations :

- Foster a positive, professional working environment across theme park

- Effective management of all elements of the theme park to defined standards in keeping with strategic objectives defined.

Revenue Management :

- Analyse Performance and generate specific tactics to improve performance

- Engage in and evaluate the effectiveness of the sales and revenue management processes

- Actively engage in the development of the annual revenue and operating budgets for theme park and resort

- Critically analyze theme park and resorts performance on an ongoing basis.

Customer Experience :

- Evaluate the guest experience by observing and interacting with guests and employees and by reviewing Brand performance reports, TripAdvisor rankings, etc

- Launch and build effective in house and marketing programs in collaborating with the marketing team

- Conduct audits to determine compliance with Company policies and Brand standards

Property Management :

- Ensure that the asset is being properly maintained and that life safety programs and practices are being enforced by thoroughly inspecting

- Use the internal ERP to generate dashboards, providing performance feedback and incorporating them into action plans as appropriate

Candidate Profile :

- MBAs preferably based in south India. Incumbent should come from Customer Experience Industry. Should have managed over 100,000 footfalls in a complex Man/Machine environment. Fluency in Kannada a must, knowledge of other South Indian a plus.

- Demonstrable maturity, professionalism and gravitas

- Ability to recognize the value and responsibility of working in a team, actively supports and develops team members, quick to Identify and problem solve any issues

- Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented

- Strong working knowledge of employment law issues, and the ability to apply these to a variety of situations using a pragmatic and common sense approach

- Effectively plans ahead to anticipate problems, plans for worst-case and best-case scenarios

- Makes sensible, intelligent decisions and deadline driven situations

- Demonstrate passion approaches all tasks in an enthusiastic way. Committed to upholding professional standards

- Ability to explain detailed legal information to staff in a straightforward way

- Display integrity is sincere in own behavior and in dealings with others

- Self motivated and self aware recognizes own strengths and weaknesses and is committed to personal development
