Job Purpose :   The role shall be solely responsible for bringing operation excellence in manufacturing. He / She will be responsible to bring optimization in productivity with process improvements like cost reduction, waste elimination, lean manufacturing techniques like TPM, TQM, Six sigma, kaizens etc.  Roles & Responsibilities :  - Improve the qualitative operational systems and processes in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.  - Resource Optimization and Manpower management  - Scaling up of Production efficiency across the units through manpower, machinery and wastage reduction  - Operations design for line balancing, optimizing input - output efficiency  - Managing installation of machinery to scale up production  - Managing third party manufactures reporting to him  - Cost Benefit analysis - In-house production Vs Outsourcing  - Profit and Loss reporting & cost quality delivery in the units  - Implementing Quality Assurance Systems and Controls  - Implementing newer concepts in Manufacturing to reduce costs including Kaizens and lean management  - Incorporate inputs from R&D for Product improvisation & work with NPD team to produce new products & meet required margins  - Ensuring In-time delivery as per made to stock and made to order schedules  - Responsible to work with suppliers and customers & ensure quality levels of Operations are always met.  Educational Qualifications :   - Bachelor's degree in a relevant business-related field from a reputed institute. Post-Graduation preferred
