- This Education startup is one of the fastest growing education startups in India serving more than 100,000 students with its flagship product IMAX.

- We recently raised VC funding from Aspada (equity fund backed by George Soros). The products deliver a seamless mix of standardized content + exams + personalized content based on the exam performance.

- This year in 2015 the company aggressively grew its business five folds. The company is now moving into exponential expansion phase where it seeks to deliver a seamless Learning Experience based on offline and digital means.

- The product portfolio is designed to capture mass markets as well as address niche markets and achieve the status of a modern global education company.

About the Team :

The operations team is the race winner. The team ensures the everything reaches each student at door step and on time.The team handles the wide canvas building systems of centralized bulk printing operations worth 50Cr to decentralized and franchised last mile operations to 3.5L students.

About the role :

As an Operations Head, you are high on Execution Quotient. At IMAX, you would be :

- Building road-map of operations, planning to to scale operations to operate for 25L students across India

- Managing delivery execution across 5 states that IMAX operates, KA-TN-AP-MH-TS

- Optimizing cost, quality and time of deliveries across multiple delivery touch points

- Ensuring on time and error free delivery to each student we work with

- Adopting effective vendor distribution, working and building association with the largest vendors in India

- Tracking and reporting progress of work throughout the year

- Planning budget/cash flows, manpower and material requirement and,

- Firefighting (Strategically solving the problems)

- Create dashboards for the organization and maintain reports of execution

Requirements :

Education Requirements :

- Graduation from a premium college

No. of years of Experience :

- 2-4 Years of experience in operations

Relevant Experience :

- Should have handled operations of 30Cr

- Team management experience

- Hands-on experience of implementing systems and executing

Preferable Industry :

- Should have worked in the FMCG sector in the production plant

- Printing Industry - magazines, newspapers

- Manufacturing industry

Skills :

- Business process analysis

- Advanced Excel skills

- Analytical skills

- Data driven approach for solving problems

Soft Skills :

- Good communication skills
