Academic Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in a Business related field.

- Master's degree as an added advantage

Professional Qualifications :

- Diploma in Islamic Banking or certification

- Association of Kenya Institute of Bankers or its equivalent

- Member of relevant professional body.

Knowledge and Experience :

- At least 12 years relevant experience, 5 years of which should have been at senior management level in the banking sector.

- Knowledge of Prudential guidelines and CBK reporting requirements;

- Knowledge of the regulatory environment of the banking industry; and

- Knowledge of Islamic banking

The position is responsible for ensuring adequate controls in central operations processes through sound operating procedures while at the same time ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also entails ensuring that the Bank's corporate and strategic objectives are met either through direct involvement or through offering support to business initiatives.

The Head of Operations provides strategic direction and overall planning, leadership to drive achievement of the Bank's objectives through operational efficiency, service offering, and customer service and relationship management
