EXECUTIVE HIRING is looking for Head of Innovation ( India ) for a CONSUMER MAJOR, at Mumbai.

Position reports to: INNOVATION DIRECTOR, INDIA & S.E ASIA

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

- MBA from Tier 1 institute, preferably in a Marketing or a Business related subject

- 10+ years work experience in Marketing & New Product Development with Top Notch FMCG / BEVERAGE Co.

Proven ability in:

- Leveraging consumer insights

- Understanding & developing financials

- Developing consumer driven strategy

- Developing & managing all elements of the marketing mix

- Innovation delivery

- Delivering successful projects by leading a cross-functional team

- Influencing peers and executive level in both a local & global context

Purpose of Role

- This role leads the delivery of the India Innovation agenda as well as scoping and developing future opportunities

- The Opportunity space is large and diverse, as well as attractive & Challenging.

- This Role will require Strong Strategic Skills, as it will lead the thinking on Overall Strategy, Business Model, right financials and Trademark Strategy for Participation across the various geographies & categories within India

- A key part of this role is to also ensure the use of creative excellence, disciplined project leadership and management in crafting new opportunities from multiple start points.

- The ability to navigate through Key Stakeholders within the Co. will be necessary for Success and Traction.

- The Innovation manager will also be the Repository of learning’s for future opportunities, on whom thus business will lean on for development of business Strategies

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Accountability for end to end project leadership from concept development through to post-launch evaluation for Innovations/new launches in India

- Identification and delivery of incremental and scalable ideas to drive future growth

- Managing the Innovation P&L (revenues and profit for all launches up to a period of 5 years)
