Job Summary:  - As the business head of the marketplace division, you have the overall responsibility of the P&L.   - You would manage the entire company's Network, make it the most preferred B2B marketplace brand in India and ensure a Global Top 500 ranking in Alexa.   - You would shape & manage all online offerings of the network, both from buyer’s as well as seller’s perspective and ensure that there is a steady growth in usage & traffic.  Tasks:  - Plan, develop, implement & monitor strategy for overall marketplace development and management, while considering first and foremost about the users and their preferences  - Setup/develop/manage a team to efficiently carry-out the following tasks. Monitor creation & execution of individual roadmaps for all activities:  - Product Development: for online users. Developing B2B user community on company portal that comprises of multiple products for users  - Traffic Generation: using web promotion, alliances, SEM to increase the number of buyers & sellers and buy leads from global & domestic buyers  - Traffic Monetization: by using ad networks like adsense, lead generation campaigns, banner advertising, online sales of leads  - Alliances: partner companies for traffic generation, lead generation, co-branded properties  - Web Promotion: through search engine optimization, social media marketing, deployment of widgets & apps, affiliate marketing  - Usability & User Engagement: enhance user experience by improving functional usability, feature addition, ensuring accuracy & quality of content offered  - Engineering & Technology: to manage the complete backend and ensure speedy delivery of content with highest uptime  - Develop and monitor measurable product line based success matrices for monitoring of all activities   - Regular and effective monitoring of P&L, budgets, expenses, projections and business performance. Monitor and enhance product revenue, market share growth and profitability of all products and services.  Qualification: A Degree in Technology, Management or both from a top rated institution  Required Skills:	  - Thorough understanding of web-portal business model  - Understanding of key performance indicators, business requirements, and other areas such as SEO, SEM, user interface optimization, content personalization and search. Good hold on social media marketing, user engagement & product conceptualization & development  - Demonstrated success in defining and launching online media, email/web products and services with experience in entrepreneurial environment  - Proactive and entrepreneurial individual who can build achieve results in a fast changing environment  Experience:  - Must have 10+ years of experience of which last 3 years should be in a leading position involving product conceptualization & development/marketing of web-portals  - Must have led a high traffic portal with over 100,000 unique visitors a day  - Extensive B2B industry knowledge & networking would be an added advantage
