Head - Maintenance

- Take round of the Plant and utility departments with Engineer and discuss about 5S

- Talk with shift Engineer about plant report

- Study of shift report about machine breakdown and discuss with the management

- In major breakdowns of machine discuss with the management

- Attending critical machine breakdown and give feedback to the management

- Supervision of engineers, electricians, fitters and helpers and give instruction for preventive maintenance of equipments and breakdown and other inter department problems

- Spare parts indenting and follow-up of spare parts availability and servicing of injection moulding machines and utility

- Weekly meeting discussion, daily production meeting

- Preparing weekly data, preparing month review meeting data

- Attending Management review meeting

- Increase moral to engineers, electricians, fitters for KAIZEN and POKE YOKE activity

- Attending various suppliers

- Development of works in department after discussion with the management

- Discussion of any system modification with the management

- Attending QS 9000 activities, preparing QS Audit

- Arrange the shift manpower according to planning

- Training of engineers / supervisors / electricians and inter department engineers / supervisors

- Housekeeping

- Instruction writing on communication register

- Giving of any data being asked on time to time from the management

- Review of plant preventive maintenance schedule

- Review of work instructions

- Preparing of annual department budget

- Analysis of machine breakdown, root cause analyses

- Installation and inspection of new equipment

- Calibration of instrument and gauges

- Desired candidate should have handled the HOD position in his current and previous organization.

- Desired candidate should have strong leadership skills.

- Should be a BTech graduate
