Description : Head of Logistics (Auto Components), Opportunity to lead the logistics function for a global brand

Client Details :

- Our client is a leading auto component manufacturing company that has a wide range of world class & innovative products. They are widely regarded as an employer of choice, and have established a significant presence in the India market. They are looking at embarking on an ambitious growth trajectory, and hence are looking to recruit a Head of Logistics, based out of their corporate office in Delhi NCR.

Description :

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for :

- Overseeing the Logistics function end to end which includes Distribution, Warehouse, Inventory Management and Transportation.

- Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.

- Work closely with various departments (procurement, sourcing, operations, manufacturing etc) to manage supply chain optimization.

- Monitoring availability of stock, making appropriate arrangement to ensure timely deliveries to the Distributor as well as to the Customers.

- Ensuring effective Vendor management in order to reduce the cost.

Profile

You will be an Engineer with around 15 years experience in logistics in the Auto Components Industry. You will have the experience of managing a P&L, and an extensive vendor/supplier base to ensure optimization of the entire function. Further, the client is looking for someone with excellent communication, negotiation and team management skills.
