The objective of the role :
1. Managing board matters and independent Directors
2. Advising on general legal matters as well as critical strategic matters
3. Corporate Governance
4. Negotiation, review, and drafting of commercial agreements, including supply and sales agreements
5. Litigation and advising strategically to business on legal matters
6. Able to advise CS of India
7. Manage Regulatory compliance and drive a culture of compliance and investigations
8. Dealing with Government matters
9. Organizing and conducting board and annual general meetings and implementing board decisions
Qualification: Qualified Lawyer
Experience :
1. Excellent understanding of Indian company law, SEBI, listing rules and all other statutory and regulatory requirements
2. Good working experience in a listed company
3. Attorney admitted to practice in India
4. At least 10 plus years of experience with a major law firm and/or international corporation as an attorney.
Key Challenges of this Role :
1. Handling Court matters
2. Handling directors of different businesses
3. Hands on Experience in working with Listed Company and issues pertaining to that.
