Client: Our client is a leading name in global education across South East Asia, Africa, MENA and India, headquartered in Singapore.

They operate an international network of award-winning schools with 20 campuses across 7 countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, India and Japan.

Job description - Head-Training & Development (Global Role)

Our client is searching for a full-time L&D Head to support the Global Learning Organisation (APAC). This is a dynamic opportunity to leverage your exceptional management of training design, both classroom and e/m-learning building an exception team and facilitation.

Your successful track record in building global curriculums and ability to build a world class training team sets you apart from your colleagues.

You will have a depth of experience creating training that reflects the learners learning preferences and are able to manage both internal stakeholders and external vendors, delivering outstanding learning solutions. A proven track record in leading world class training teams and content is a must. Previous experience working in an APAC role within a matrix organization would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

- Set the strategy for APAC training, aligned under the global strategy

- Lead the training design and delivery for all international locations.

- Design and implement regular TNA's and ensure ongoing needs are captured and delivered to support the business needs and inform redesign of existing courses

- Continue to build and develop a world class training team in APAC

- Deliver against those needs, ensuring global design is adapted for regional delivery

- Manage the delivery of all onboarding training for all teams across APAC

- Design and deliver all internal - offsite- events, understanding needs and delivering to relevant audience

- Design and manage the delivery of a comprehensive curriculum which incorporates blended learning solutions, tracks learning and supports career paths within the organisation

- Align all training interventions with competency framework, working closely with HRBP- s

- Evaluate trainer performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement for both delivery methods and course content

- Support the roll out of key business initiatives, delivering high impact training support solutions.

- Manage a team of trainers across APAC to deliver outstanding training interventions

Requirements / Qualifications:

- Bachelors- degree in HR,Business, Education or related field. Professional certificates in Training & Development preferred

- At least 8+ years experience in learning and development

- Strong people and influencing skills. Proven team leadership skills, and ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with all levels of the organization.

- High degree of competency with adult learning concepts, practices, and procedures including the design of instructor led & web-based training and delivery of content with strong facilitation skills

- Strong written, verbal, presentation & persuasion skills required.

- Domestic & international travel required.

- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of tools required.

- Shows judgment when analyzing situation and making decisions.

- Customer focused.

- Creative in developing solutions

- Quality and process driven in assignment delivery.

- Excellent time and work load management skills; ability to prioritize.

Salary offered: 10 - 18 LPA
