Role: HR Head

Job Location: Pune

Position Description: The Human Resources Head guides and manages the overall provision of Human

Resources services, policies, and programs for the company.

The major areas directed are:

- recruiting and staffing;

- organizational and space planning;

- performance management and improvement systems;

- organization development;

- employment and compliance to regulatory concerns;

- employee orientation, development, and training;

- policy development and documentation;

- employee relations;

- company employee and community communication;

- compensation and benefits administration;

- employee safety, welfare, wellness and health;

- employee services and counselling.

Development of the Human Resources Department

- Oversees the implementation of Human Resources programs through Human Resources staff. Monitors administration to established standards and procedures. Identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves any discrepancies.

- Oversees and manages the work of reporting Human Resources staff.

- Encourages the ongoing development of the Human Resources staff.

- Develops and monitors an annual budget that includes Human Resources services, motivation programmes and employee recognition.

- Selects and supervises Human Resources consultants, legal experts, and training specialists, and coordinates company consultants for statutory matters.

Candidate Profile

- Should have minimum 10 years- experience in HR management and operations

- Should have relevant experience in all HR activities eg structuring of employee compensation and benefits, definition of employee bands, development of job descriptions, recruitment, HR policy development, payroll implementation, performance management, employee engagement programmes and statutory compliances

- Should have a post graduate qualification in HR

- Should preferably have experience in the services sector but it is not a must

- Should possess excellent written and oral communication skills

- Should have a pleasing personality and the ability work with people at all levels

- Should have the willingness to travel as required
