Head HR of a Giant Manufacturing Organisation

I represent a three decade old premier executive search and selection company, Quest ESB Consultants (www.questconsultants.in)

We have been entrusted by an extremely large Conglomerate to select the Head of HR for its Manufacturing Company.

The Unit has state of the art facilities and robust environment for employees. Employee strength is 6000+

The incumbent would have to bring in effective leadership to the dynamic environment and spearhead the entire gamut of HR, IR, CSR for the BU. He would be supported by a team of 15 + HR, IR professionals for various functions.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Strategizing the Human Resources function for the entire set up.

- Assist the Manufacturing Heads in Manpower planning, budgeting, Quality and MIS.

- Promoting excellent Industrial Relations (Managing the internal trade union & promoting the peaceful industrial relations)

- Providing administrative support including the Security & medical services

- Ensuring healthy employee relations, assisting in resolving the employee grievances & employee welfare.

- Improvising systems and processes. Responsible for OD initiatives, Training & Development initiatives, Skill Building initiatives across levels.

- Responsible for CSR Initiatives. Work closely with the Govt. bodies, NGOs.

- Ensure Quality Compliance - TQM, Lean, 6 sigma

We invite applications from seasoned HR and IR professionals within the age group of 42-50 yrs (17-22yrs exp) who have the potential to be head the function for a large set up.

Should have adequate leadership experience in handling complexities of a manufacturing set up. Should be aware of latest trends and techniques of maintaining peaceful IR and adequate exposure to quality compliance.

Knowledge of TQM, six sigma,etc.

Must have proven skills in handling trade unions and maintaining smooth operations in state of the art facilities.

Candidates with relevant leadership experience in large and sophisticated set ups of Manufacturing, FMCG, Durables or Auto companies may apply.
