Job Description - Lead the overall Group Process & IT Strategy, Governance and Security initiatives for a leading conglomerate with multiple lines of business.

The India business is a splendid contributor to the Asia Pacific business and the company has aggressive growth plans for the market besides already holding a stellar market share within their line of products and services. With the continued developing India as a regional hub, the business is looking to on board a senior Group Process & IT Leader.

Description

Based out of Mumbai, the key accountabilities will be:

- Ensuring regional compliance with the GPI strategy, governance and security

a) GPI Strategy

b) Information Security

c) Strategic Vendor Management

d) Transformation office

- Ensure GPI controlling, purchasing & contract management

- Ensure regional business process and application management

- Ensure region enterprise architecture management

- Support specific regional IT issues and safeguarding of cross-Business Area issues

- Ensure actions as region IT representative; establish a regional IT community; sharing network and support IT staff competence development; ensure transfer back of local information into GPI panels and bring regional needs into consideration in the respective GPI panels.

- Regular Analysis of IT Status Across the Region

- Oversee Headquarter IT support, supervise and develop IT staff in the function

Profile

10-15 years of experience in implementation of information technology integration in a large division or company coupled with relevant certifications viz. COBIT, ITIL, Quality Management. MBA/PGDBM with a BE in Computer Science and exposure of having worked in hands on set ups and strong process orientation is desirable.

The incumbent must be adept in management and should have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and with strong articulation on points of conversation. The role requires someone who comes with solid Project Management skills and competence in contracting, negotiating and change management.
