Areas of Responsibility & brief description
Corporate reporting:
The Corp FP&A will be responsible for issuing the financial reporting to the VFS EB and to the Kuoni group:
- statutory reporting
- any other reporting required by the Kuoni group
- Business reviews’ financial updates
- Dashboards as and when required by the VFS CFO and CEO
Financial planning:
The Corp FP&A head will be responsible for supporting the VFS EB in planning the business in terms of revenue, margin and resources:
- Yearly planning
- Mid-tern planning
- Resources planning as in IT, head-count, capital expenditures...
Finance projects:
- The Corp FP&A head will be responsible for designing and delivering the overall Finance systems and processes for the current business, and proactively design the systems and processes to support the mid-term and long-term strategy of the VFS group.
- This should be done in close collaboration and synchronization with the Kuoni group’s Finance systems and projects.
WW Cost management:
The Corp FP&A head will be responsible for designing and delivering top-class costs management across the whole VFS group.
- Design and maintenance of all costs centres
- Setting up tracking mechanism, budget vs actuals, for all projects: new lines of business, new visa centres, consolidation, IT projects, acquisitions, divestment…
Provide all supporting units, regions, and business development teams with the tools to:
- budget their costs annually
- adjust cost forecasts on a quarterly basis
- manage and control their costs on an ongoing basis
Accounting shared services:
The Corp FP&A head will be responsible for scaling the accounting function in order to:
- achieve economies of scale as the VFS group continues to extend in revenue, new businesses and new countries.
- re-focus the controllers on supporting the business.
This includes:
- tighter supervision of the accounting tasks performed by our accounting vendor
- designing common practices around key accounting processes like accounts accounting records, purchase to pay, hire to retire (payroll, comp & benefits), billing to cash…
Qualification & Experience (Education, Experience, specific knowledge, skills, understanding, attitude)
Education : Minimum : CA/ MBA in Finance /ICWA /MS in finance from reputed/premier institute
Experience:
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in handling finance systems and processes
- Experience in advising business leaders and board in key investment decisions
- Experience in handling multi-cultural/global teams
Knowledge & Key Skills:
- Good communication skills

- Analytical skills & business understanding
- Understanding of Business Models
- Ability to Lead and Develop other staff
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
