Job opening "Finance Head" with one of the largest " Retail Cosmetic Company " in India for their Delhi NCR Office Office.

Role :

- Astute Finance professional with a vision to conceptualize, execute, budget, monitor and control overall financial activities of multiple residential and commercial projects.

- Financial Planning, Fund Raising and Management, Accounts, Commercial Operations, Taxation, Auditing, Budgeting, Cost Control, MIS.

Key Deliverables/ Responsibilities :

Strategic Planning and Leadership :

- Set company's vision and goals and create a road map for achieving the same

- Formulate strategies, budgets and policies in consensus with the Board of Directors.

- Analyze for best use project development based on different financial parameters, both for internal purpose and for financial institutions

- Team building - synergies between different levels.

Fund Raising and Management :

- Raise project finance, including negotiation of terms, documentation, compliance's etc.

- Arranging low cost funds, Liaison with Bankers.

- Working Capital Management (Both Fund Based and Non Fund Based with consortium bankers).

- Cash Flow Planning (Monthly & Projection Monthly & yearly), collection and payment of funds.

- Decision regarding Capital Structure.

- Ensure that the surplus funds if any, are appropriately invested.

- Ensure that there is no blockage of funds- like in useless/ extra or slow moving material.

Project Evaluation and Costing :

- Budgeting cost sheet preparation, analysis of costs as per budget for the variation, reporting of the extra ordinary and excessive variances through MIS to the top management, Inventory Control.

- Cost Computation of the projects under execution under a continuous system so as to raise any red flags at the right time if they are not going as per the budget.

Project Accounting and Budgeting :

- Oversee Finance and Accounts Department functioning.

- Project Accounting and Book Closure.

- Execution of various accounting processes.

- Reconciliation of Creditors and Debtors ledgers.

- Quarterly analysis & Finalization of Financial Statements as per GAAP requirements.

- Leading the relationships with Statutory, Internal and Tax Auditors.

- Develop Financial Business Plans, Budgeting, Forecast, Financial Reports, Variance Analysis and facilitate monitoring of the financial performance of the business.

- Define and develop in consultations with functions on intelligent MIS preparation to provide sound advice.

- Debtor Management and Control.

- Debt Optimization.

- Controlling the procurement cost.

- Ensure Efficient Utilization of resources assigned.

- Identifying areas of Revenue and Cost Optimization opportunities

Financial Planning and Budgeting :

- Project appraisal/ Investment Appraisal, Financial Modeling and Business Planning for all investment projects of the company.

- Preparation of the Investor Presentation/ Investment committee report for the investment approval of the appraised project.

- Business Valuation and Assessment of the Project

- MIS/ Financial Reporting - Preparation, review and variance analysis of the Monthly MIS

- Internal Audit and Risk Management - Member of Internal Audit and risk committee of the organization with an objective to minimize the risk and improve the processes of the organization.

Arbitration :

- Legal & Commercial Contracts with Clients, Vendors & Other parties.

- Handle Legal Matters, Contracts, Disputes etc. by interacting with lawyers / legal firms on various matters related to finance.

- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.

- Develop long term relationships with concerned government authorities.

- Statutory Compliance with various Taxation laws- Income Tax, Sales Tax, Service Tax and others.

- Ensure prompt tax administration.

Education/ Desired Profile :

- CA/MBA/ M.Com. in Finance with 10-18 yrs of experience.

- Minimum 3+ yrs of senior management experience in strategic planning, project accounting, budgeting, financial planning.

- Possess good knowledge of Laws, regulations and rules.

- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal and Leadership skills.

- Proficient in MS Office and other Accounting Softwares like Tally ERP.

- Relationship management with the clients, vendors & relevant authorities.

- Sound understanding of retail market, trends and customer behavior.

- Good Communication Skills in English and Hindi.

- A proven Team Leader, Motivator and Team Builder.
