Indicative Requirements :  - 5 - 10 years of relevant experience   - Should be a Chartered Accountant  - Candidates with experience in NBFCs and other financial services will be preferred  - Should have experience of handling finalization of accounts, timely closure of audits.  - Good communication skills, written as well as oral  - Highest level of professional and personal honesty, integrity and ethics  - Ability to work as part of a team  - Ability to meet deadlines and achieve objectives  - Willingness to travel based on requirement of work  - Role would be based out of Mumbai  Indicative Key Responsibilities :  - Responsible for maintaining an effective and efficient financial management system  - Manage the finance, accounts, taxation and compliance functions of the company and ensure timely finalisation of accounts  - Ensure compliance with government / regulatory requirements and tax filings  - Prepare and present periodic financial statements (monthly / quarterly / annual) including variation of actuals from budget, to the management and Board, to support effective decision-making, planning and control.  - Implement and maintain sound financial management controls and ensure that these controls are adhered to  - Closely monitor cashflow for businesses and highlight observations to the management  - Coordinate and ensure timely completion of audit process and engage with Board appointed Audit Committee  - Financial planning, budgeting and tax strategy  - Recommend and supervise implementation of operational best practices   - Document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal control process  - Understand and implement risk mitigation solutions including maintaining appropriate insurance cover
