JOB PROFILE  Designation: Head Engineering Design  Location: Hyderabad  Reports to: VP - Operations   Required Experience: Minimum 15 years in machine designing and fabrication works, preferably relating to process industry  Required Qualification: Should be a Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial Engineer from a reputed institute; Masters Degree in Engineering and Management preferred.   JOB DESCRIPTION  - Candidate will be responsible for Design, Manufacturing, Assembly and Testing of new plants/products, with respect to mechanical works/fabrication on location  - Candidate will be responsible for the identification and implementation of appropriate new technology to ensure cutting edge manufacturing capabilities  - Close coordination and work with Product Development Teams, R&D to ensure effective design transfer from product development division to manufacturing division  - Close coordination and work closely with Quality and Materials department for parts, components sourcing, sub-contract decisions  - Monitor, Control and Improve Critical Processes and regular reviews of product costing models, and plans to ensure project is on track and under budget  - Must be expose to SAP environment  - Responsible for scalable product development with the focus on cost-effective design and manufacturability  - Close Coordination with various manufacturing engineering technologies (molding, assembly, packaging etc.)  KEY SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:   - Expert in machine manufacturing and fabrication; leveraging the scale, complexity and best practices of existing plants to improve machine design  - Updated knowledge and a keen interest to learn about leading edge technologies and global best practices in manufacturing  - Strong knowledge of cost management and project management  - Able to effectively manage business relationships/customer interfacing  - Advanced vendor (sub-contracts) management skills   - Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles  - Skill in both written and verbal communication  Contact Person:   Shipra Garg   0120-4550859
