The company based in Bangalore headquartered global infrastructure major with interests in Airports, Energy, Highways and Urban Infrastructure sectors. Founded in 1978, the Group is well diversified and professionally managed. Employing the Public Private Partnership model, the Group has successfully implemented several iconic infrastructure projects in India.

In the Airports sector, the Group operates India’s busiest airport, the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, where it has built a brand new integrated terminal T3. It is the biggest terminal in India and one of the largest in the world.

The Group has 15 power generation assets of which 8 are operational and 7 are under various stages of development.

Role

Provide leadership to Energy Integration Group with respect to Direct Taxation, Secretarial and AOP, MIS, Consolidation of all GMR Energy companies, setting up policies and processes for audits, monitoring & control of MIS, Financial Statements of all the Energy companies for the smooth functioning of Finance & Accounts.

Key Performance Indicators

F&A Consolidation

- Lead the team for facilitating finalization of Annual Operating Plans, MIS, implementation of process and procedures for audits, monitoring and controls of all Finance & Accounting activities including Consolidation, cost monitoring and optimization.

- Audit of consolidated financial statements of all Energy companies and presentation to boards.

- Responsible for banking relations, board meetings, cash flow and systems and controls.

- Working Capital Management, Cash Flow, etc. relevant to the Business AOP, MIS, on-time resolution of Audit issues

- Direct Taxation

- Lead the team for facilitating direct taxation function for Energy Sector entities, advising the entities on all direct tax matters in order to ensure internal & external compliances in Direct Taxation are carried out on time to mitigate tax risk and minimize litigation Timely tax planning, submissions, MIS and litigation management

- Secretarial

- Lead the team in facilitating statutory compliances as per companies act, FEMA, SEBI and other related corporate laws. Facilitate necessary board approvals, committees & shareholders. Monitor and ensure implementation of corporate governance practices, establish efficient processes and supervise compliance. Timelines, MIS

Monitor & review audits and statutory compliances and ensure timely MIS of all related activities MIS

Skills & Knowledge

Educational Qualification: Graduation with CA.

- Relevant & Total years of Experience: 22 to 25 years of experience in similar Function at Corporate Level in Infrastructure industry

Candidate Requirements

1. Has in-depth knowledge of Accounting Practices and Finance Related activities, Consolidation, etc.

2. Has in-depth knowledge of Tax issues and hands-on experience of Risk Mitigation Plans

3. Has in-depth knowledge of Secretarial function

4. Excellent communication skills, strong self-confidence and smart presence essential
