Head/Director - IT Sales - Public/Government Sector - Travel/Hospitality Domain (10-20 yrs) (10-25 y
We are looking for aggressive Sales Director (IT Projects/Onsite Consulting) with focus on Public/Government Sector and Travel/Hospitality Domain.
- The Director of Sales is responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and closing new enterprise business opportunities with Small, Mid-sized and Fortune 1000 companies, along with marketing our IT services.
- He should have successful sales management and implementation services experience and passion for delivering positive& measurable results.
- This is a base plus commission driven position with a tremendous earning potential.
Skills and Experience Required :
- 10+ years experience in IT/Software Consulting Sales Public/Government Sector and Travel/Hospitality Domain with a demonstrated ability to manage a pipeline, carry through and close deals.
- Should be an Individual contributor and experience of running and managing a sales team
- Need to stay up to date on Market, Business and competitive trends in the IT/Software Service domains
- Should have a proven ability to demonstrate a solution sale and can navigate complex enterprise accounts
- Should know how to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial start-up in which cross-functional teamwork and initiative is a must
- Must be a highly skilled hunter and/or farmer, self motivated with self-confidence, patience and a strong desire to exceed expectations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education background of Sales/Marketing or related field, an MBA a plus.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbally (including presentation skills) and written (documents, proposals, RFx responses)
