Key Result Areas:  - Establish and strengthen Data Quality/ Profiling practice and implement continuous process improvements; optimize data profiling process and adoption  - Manage delivery of all data profiling and data control artifacts, from data discovery to the delivery phase  - Provide data controls development and data quality consultation to Business and Technology Groups. Ensure the DQ Services continuously exceed internal clients standards   - Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously  - Problem solve business requirements from various product/business/functional owners   - Identify process vulnerabilities, and recommend and drive change to increase effectiveness. Actively seek and disseminate information on change in order to minimize resistance  - Drive a strong people agenda to manage and inspire data analysts with technical expertise, domain knowledge, business experience, and statistical/modeling techniques  - Translate and articulate technical thoughts and ideas to a larger audience including influencing peers and senior management   - Have a strong understanding of the Insurance domain to be able to solve complex business issues  Person Specification:  Overall Experience :  - PhD/Post-Graduate degree from a renowned institution in any advanced quantitative modeling oriented discipline including Computer Science, Mathematics, CIS/MIS and related fields. Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt/Black Belt) preferred, but not mandatory  - 10+ years experience in Data Quality/Data Governance, specializing in data management, data warehousing, ETL, and operational datastore initiatives  - Proven experience in managing a team of 50+ data quality developers  - Experience in delivering enterprise wide data profiling and control initiatives  - Expertise in extraction, cleansing, validation, and integration of data from multiple systems  - Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills  - Data Profiling Tools (3-5 yrs), DataStage/ETL (4-6yrs), Information Analyzer (3-5yrs), Informatica (3-5 yrs), SAS and strong SQL Experience  - Strong Knowledge of Data Warehouse Architecture, Star Schema, Snow flake Schema, Fact tables, and Dimensional tables  - Experience in Integration of various data sources like TeraData, DB2UDB, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and MS Access
