Head - Supply Chain Services

Requisite qualification criterion:

- Graduate Engineer & MBA with at least 15 years of service/ advisory selling experience to Heavy Engineering & Power/ Renewable sector focusing on supply chain service in consulting sector

- Candidate with proven track record of establishing centre of competence of any Fortune 500 energy/ power sector company would be an advantage.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Co-ordination with Chief Co-ordinator SCS in key countries h for global reach

- Lead COC - SCS to achieve target Revenue

- Spearhead contacts with global MNCs to register/empanel

- To ensure and implement growth targets

Key Interactions - External:

- Establishing client contacts

- Participation in client meetings

- Co-ordination with regulatory bodies/ clients for approval/ empanelment

- Lead the participation in global trade shows/ sector conferences

Key Interactions - Internal:

- Set short term & long term targets for SCS team

- Assess the leads/RFQ for risk and financial feasibility

- Communication with Head - IS/ legal entity w.r.t. to big opportunity/leads

- Review of performance of Managers in SCS and RMs in Legal Entity

- Periodic performance reporting to IS division in Munich

Objectives and Tasks of the Supply Chain Services Competence Centre Head

- To issue Tenders for projects

- To identify - HOT- targets for projects along with potential country representative

- Assist in project selection

- Initiate bids and tenders

- Support bid process with resource documentation

- Cost/Rates build-up

- To provide global support for development and growth of Supply Chain services

- To build-up necessary structure (coordinators, freelance and co-operation partners etc) within TS Regions

- To standardize processes, procedures and tools to ensure conformity and quality of commercial activities, e.g. man day rates; pricing process of bidding

- To intensify and maintain Communication and Information exchange

- To create a bid follow-up system

- To create a Inspectors (qualification) data base

- To support TS Business Areas (power plant, Process etc.) in completing their service portfolio

- Reputed consulting/inspection companies who provide complete supply chain service; MNCs in power and Oil & Gas sector who has dedicated supply chain service department with international exposure.

Travelling : 70% initially ( will include both domestic and international travel)
