We have an opportunity for Business Development Head with one of the leading Pharma Company in Baroda.
Position : Business Development Head
- Responsible for acquiring new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients
- Identify strategic areas and companies for the company to target. Research the market, develop a competitor landscape and use information to help understand product lifecycle and price
- Research and develop a Pharma Product Selection Criteria for generic API's. Understand product expiry and current filing status at the customer's end. Ensure Paushak is a primary or secondary source in exhibit batches.
- Locate and study product information from the US FDA website and databases such as IMS and other online information.
- Liaison and network with R&D departments in Pharmaceutical companies to identify new product possibilities.
- Network and build relationships with new clients. Grow and retain existing clients.
- Liaise with R&D for feasibility of new products as per the clients requirements
- Develop a process to drive and Project Manage new product inquiries including coordination between R& D, Procurement, production safety and engineering.
- Understand global logistics scenario and develop company competency in new shipping and distribution skills.
- 10-15 years of experience in Pharma/API/Bulk Drugs industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Pharma - desired
- Master's degree or equivalent with specialization in Marketing
