For one of our Indian Client, which is into various businesses like F&B, Retail and Real Estate, we urgently require
Head – Business Development (preferably from Food/Agri-Commodity/FMCG Sector) to be based at Tehran (Iran), as under :
Reporting to
- Director / MD
- Other Interactions : Commercial/Marketing/Sales/Manufacturing
KRA
- Lead and oversee the development & growth of profitable new business
- To develop and maintain effective key agency relationships
- Responsible for all aspects of managing and motivating the Business Development/Commercial Team.
- To ensure business growth through directing and managing Business Development activities; Marketing and Sales activities; and to ensure these are delivered in accordance with the organizational and Senior Management strategy
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Contribute to the development and refinement of Company's vision and strategy
- Support the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure the organization
- Maximizes its short, medium and long-term profitability and shareholder returns
- Liaise with other executive heads on the implementation of the company's strategic and operational plans
- Develop, review, and report on the business development division's strategy, ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the team
Management of the Overall Business Development Function Including:
- Impact the profitability of the company through ensuring strategic and tactical management decisions and new business development results
- Marketing /Sales Development
- Competitor and market analysis
- Develop and lead the Business Development team in sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities
- Ensure efficient and effective marketing/Sales
- Technical Sales Presentation and Seminars
- Advertising and promotional planning through the Marketing department
- Present a budget for board approval and prudently manage resources within those budgetary guidelines according to company policy and within ethical corporate governance guidelines
- Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies

Qualification / Experience & Background
- Graduate - Business Administration / Commerce.
- M.B.A. will be a big plus
- Nature and length of previous experience :
- Minimum three to five years of solid hands-on Business Development/Commercial Management experience plus previous experience as Senior Business Development Executive, Marketing/Sales Executive
- Specialist Knowledge: Marketing and Finance
- Soft Skills and Personality Traits: Leadership, Team player, Hi-Energy, Can-Do attitude.
Language Fluency: Must be FLUENT in English & Farsi;
- Arabic, will be a big plus.

- National and International business travel
CTC
Gross Base Salary : Negotiable
